Melvin “Mel” R. Raymond Posted on October 7, 2016 0 Melvin “Mel” R. Raymond Melvin “Mel” R. Raymond, of Upper Sandusky, died at 10:15 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 6, 2016 at Fairhaven Community. He was 79. Funeral services are 11 a.m. Tuesday at Trinity Evangelical UMC with the Rev. Jim Stauffer and Steve Sturgeon officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery, Upper Sandusky. Visitation is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday at Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky and one hour before service time at the church Tuesday. Memorial contributions may be made to the Trinity Evangelical UMC Building Fund, Hospice of Wyandot County or the Transportation Fund for the Wyandot County Council on Aging and may be sent to Lucas-Batton, 476 S.
