Friends will be received from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday, at Stombaugh-Batton Funeral Home in Carey. Melvin’s funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home with Pastor Randall Haney officiating. Burial will follow at Spring Grove Cemetery in Carey. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Wyandot County or the American Cancer Society, and sent to Stombaugh-Batton Funeral Home, 225 W. Findlay St., Carey, OH. 43316.
