CAREY — Mary Ann Allison, of Carey, died at 7:13 p.m. Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at Birchaven Village, Findlay. She was 72.
Born Feb. 26, 1940 in Carey, she was a daughter of the late Clay and Polly (Puckett) Risner. She married John W. Allison on May 27, 1958 in Findlay and he survives in Carey.
Surviving are three children, Christopher (Diane) Allison, Alvada; Tom (Regina) Allison, Forest; and Mike (Penny) Allison, West Auburn, Pa.; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; four brothers, Alvin Risner, Fostoria; Ronald Risner, Alvada; Jim Risner, Alvada; and Jack Risner, Lima; and three sisters, Faye Altman, Janice Hindall and Judy Cramner, all of Findlay.
She was preceded in death by a brother and four sisters.
Mrs. Allison was a homemaker. She retired from Porcelain Products, Carey, after 28 years.
The funeral service will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Stombaugh-Batton Funeral Home, Carey, with the Rev. Bill Schultz officiating. Burial will follow in Spring Grove Cemetery, Carey. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
