Lola Swartz
Lola Gaye Pack-Swartz, of Findlay and formerly of Bloomdale, died at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, April 28, 2012 at Bridge Hospice Care Center, Findlay. She was 50.
Born March 20, 1962 in Upper Sandusky, she was a daughter of Lillian Pack, who survives in Harpster, and Stanley F. Pack, who is deceased. She married Timothy Lee Swartz on July 21, 1981 in Clintwood, Va., and he survives.
Also surviving are sons, Levi Alexis (Jaime) Swartz and Christopher Lee Swartz, both of Findlay; daughter, Ariel Marie (Gary) Swartz-Wickersham, of Rawson; a stepdaughter, Heather (Andy) Hickman, of Butler; four grandchildren, Taylor, Michelle, Brendin and Lola, who is yet to be born; four stepgrandchildren, Joey, Silas, Shyanne and Tearionna; three brothers, Alan and Gary Pack, both of Harpster; and Roger Pack, of Upper Sandusky; and a sister Loretta (Brian) Elliott, of Upper Sandusky.
She also was preceded in death by a sister, Marcia Slone.
Mrs. Pack-Swartz attended Upper Sandusky High School and, at the time of her death, was attending Owens Community College, Findlay, pursuing a degree in psychology.
For hobbies, she enjoyed doing many things on the Internet, such as blogging and Facebook with family and friends, and various things on You Tube. She loved to cook and watch cooking shows, being outside with her flowers and trees, painting and doing housework. She also enjoyed reading and studying the Bible and sharing her faith in Christ with others.
Mrs. Pack-Swartz had a love for her four dogs, Tasha, Luckey, Taffy and Ginger and she most of all enjoyed spending time with her family, especially “Bun Bun.”
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Lucas-Batton Funeral Home, Upper Sandusky, with the Rev. Jim Stauffer officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery, Upper Sandusky. Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home and one hour before service time Thursday.
