Jimmy Stone
FOREST — Jimmy L. “Boner” Stone, of Forest, died at 4:30 a.m. Sunday Aug. 12, 2012 at his residence. He was 59.
Born June 14, 1953 in Kenton, he was a son of Dicle J. and Louella Mae (Musgrave) Stone. He married Johna Bosher on Feb. 14, 1977 and they later divorced.
Mr. Stone is survived by a son, Joe (Michelle) Stone, Forest; five daughters, Jill (Nathan Walton) Stone, Upper Sandusky; Wendy (David) Rodenberger, West Mansfield; Stacy (Scott) Egbert, Mount Blanchard; Jessica (Dustin) Stansbery, Kirby; and Shawna Zoll, Forest; a special friend, Karen Zoll, Forest; nine grandchildren, Natalee and J.D. Stone, Malloree Washburn, Joshua and Jenna Rodenberger and Ryder, Raya, Ramsey and Romyn Egbert; and a sister, Barb, of Kenton.
Mr. Stone graduated from Riverdale High School in 1972. He was an employee for the village of Forest until his retirement in 2001.
Mr. Stone was a volunteer firefighter for the Forest Fire Department. He also was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 1182, Forest; and Moose Lodge No. 428, Kenton.
For hobbies, he enjoyed camping, going to car shows with his 1953 Chevy and riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. Mr. Stone also enjoyed traveling throughout the United States on his bike. He will be remembered for living life to the fullest and enjoying his friends.
A processional line-up will form at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Forest Fire Department, followed by a graveside service at 11 a.m. in Hueston Cemetery with the Rev. Floyd Bosher officiating. A gathering of family and friends will take place at his residence after the graveside service. Visitation will be held at 5 p.m. Thursday at 205 N. Mary St., Forest.
