Jessie Pever

FOREST — Jessie Mae Pever, formerly of Wharton and who had resided in Findlay, died Thursday, March 8, 2012 at Blanchard Valley Hospital, Findlay. She was 88.
Born Sept. 4, 1923 in Frankfort, Ky., she was a daughter of the late Rollie S. and Mary Belle (McRoberts) Ratliff. On Aug. 17, 1940 she married Clayton R. Pever, who preceded her in death on Oct. 1, 1976.
She is survived by a daughter, Barbara (Ron) Buess, Wharton; three grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a great-great-granddaughter; and many nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were a son, D. Richard Pever; brothers Denny, Leslie, Clarence “Shorty”, Art and an infant brother, Robert Ratliff; and a sister, Maude Lee.
Mrs. Pever attended Wharton Local School. She was a homemaker and worked at the former Automotive Fibers, Forest, and JCPenney, Findlay.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in Wharton-Richland-Union Cemetery, Wharton, with the Rev. Joe Searfoss officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Jessie Pever memorial fund in care of Clark Shields Funeral Home, 301 S. Patterson St., Forest OH 45843.
