Harold Walter Posted on November 14, 2016 0 CAREY — Harold William Walter, of Snow Camp, North Carolina, and formerly of Carey and Wharton, died Friday, November 11, 2016. He was 95. Funeral services are 2 p.m. Tuesday at Stombaugh-Batton Funeral Home, Carey, with the Rev. David Troyer officiating. Burial will be in Zion Bloom Cemetery, Vanlue, where military graveside rites will be conducted by the Carey Honor Guard. Visitation begins at noon prior to funeral service.
