Betty Shark

FOREST — Betty M. Shark, of Forest, died Monday, May 7, 2012 at Marion General Hospital. She was 85.
Born Sept. 17, 1926 in Lima, he was a son of the late Harry and Treva (Sowers) Ingle. She married Carson E. Shark on Aug. 3, 1946 and he survives.
Mrs. Shark also is survived by seven children, Carson Shark II, California; Marla (Roger) Hemmerly, Kenton; Vincent (Susie) Shark, Forest; Kathie (Denis) Phillips, Forest; Jerry Shark, Oklahoma; John (Mary) Shark, Lexington; and Robert (Nancy) Shark, Missouri; one brother, William (Atta) Ingle, Waynesville; two sisters, Clara Martin, Dunkirk; and Treva Donel, Florida; 14 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Sherry Shark; three brothers, two sisters and two grandchildren.
Mrs. Shark attended Forest United Methodist Church.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Clark Shields Funeral Home, with the Rev. Denny Livingston officiating. Interment will follow in Hueston cemetery, Forest. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
