Some trick-or-treat events originally scheduled for today in Wyandot County have been postponed due to high winds and rain forecasted for tonight.
Events in three villages have been postponed until Sunday. Trick or treat will be held from 2-3:30 p.m. in Carey, 3:30-5 p.m. in Sycamore and 6-7:30 p.m. in McCutchenville.
The annual Upper Sandusky Halloween parade, sponsored by American Legion Post No. 225, will take place unless it is raining at the start time scheduled for 6:30 p.m., adjutant and finance officer Clyde Taylor said. Line-up will begin at 6 p.m. near the Upper Sandusky Community Library. In case of rain, costume judging still will be held at the Upper Sandusky Fire Department. Cider and doughnuts will be offered.
Costume judging and trick or treat in Wharton will be held at its originally scheduled time, which is 6-8 p.m. today. In case of rain, costume judging will be moved from Sandusky Street to the Wharton-Richland Fire Department.
