Freedom Center gets new home

Moving day

Liberty Freedom Center volunteers move items from a truck into the center’s new home at 431 N. Warpole St., Upper Sandusky. Names of the volunteers were not provided.

Liberty Freedom Center now is operating out of it new location at 431 N. Warpole St., Upper Sandusky, by appointment. The center moved to its new location in February and resumed serving the public in March. It served 219 families in March and 225 families in April.
In combination with the new location, taking appointments and the new electronic system, the center now has practically no wait time, no lines and no standing outside in the weather, minimizing the process time.
Liberty Freedom Center still is looking for donations to help fund the center. Right now, it is running on a few personal donations, but with the growing number of families being served, the cost of service exceeds the donations that the center receives.

Stocking up

Volunteers stock shelves in a storage room at the new Liberty Freedom Center location.

Liberty is implementing a $50 a month club for individuals who are interested in partnering with the center to help support the needs of the community. For businesses, the center is suggesting a $100 a month club to help support the needs of the community. Any donations will be accepted.
Tax deductible donations may be made to Liberty Freedom Center, 431 N. Warpole St., Upper Sandusky OH 43351.
For more information, contact the center at 419-310-1309, sand an email to freedomcenter1@hotmail.com or visit the Liberty Freedom Center’s Facebook page.
