    I agree with Mr. Gucker that the flag offends many people and is not so much a symbol of pride but of bigotry and hatred toward anyone not white or from the south. The intent to fly the confederate flag seems to invite controversy and offend people. It is within their rights, however, but seems to makes one wonder why someone would go out of their way to showcase something rude and offensive. In my opinion, it’s not a good example for children to follow.
