Wynford announces kindergarten screening dates

BUCYRUS — Wynford School District recently announced kindergarten registration and screening dates for the 2013-14 school year.
Residents of the school district with children who will enter kindergarten in the fall may call Wynford Elementary School at 419-562-4619, ext. 301, to register their children for screening appointments, which will be held April 18-19. The cut-off age for kindergarten is 5 by Aug. 1.
Kindergarten requirements include immunizations, physical and dental exams, government-issued birth certificate, Social Security number, custody papers and proof of residency. Required immunizations include five doses for diphtheria, tetanus and pertussis; four doses for polio; two doses for measles, mumps and rubella; three doses for Hepatitis B; and two doses for chickenpox.
