Wise receives scholarships

ADRIAN, Mich. — The Gleaner Life Insurance Society Scholarship Foundation has announced Karen Wise is the recipient of a $1,000 Findlay Flag City Arbor Scholarship Award.
Wise, a 2012 graduate of Riverdale High School, was one of 125 students selected to receive a 2012 scholarship award from the Gleaner Life Insurance Society Scholarship Foundation. In addition, Wise also receives a $10,000 Just For Scholars life insurance certificate from Gleaner Life Insurance Society.
Wise, a daughter of Thomas and Carol Wise, of Findlay, will attend Bluffton or the University of Findlay, majoring in education.
