WHARTON — The annual Wharton Easter Egg Hunt was held at the Wharton Park, with more than 30 children attending the event.
The egg hunt was sponsored by the Wharton Grow ‘N Learn Mothers’ Club and the Wharton Park Board. Volunteers who helped were Abby Grubbs, Sally Grubbs, Julie Hoepf and Colin Hoepf.
Winners were:
2 years and younger: $1, Sophie Weatherholtz; 50 cents, Audrey Buchanan; and 25 cents, Tyler Clay (1); Audrey Buchanan (2); Lauralye Reigle (1); Blaine Roach (3); Sophie Weatherholtz (4); and Jackson Boes (3).
3 and 4 years: $1, Brodie Cox; 50 cents, Kaylea Terrell; 25 cents, Brodi Cox (3); Kaylea Terrell (3); Dylann Thacker (1); Owen Weatherholtz (4); Beck Dailey (1); Kylie Tiell (1); and Kalee Lortz (1).
5 years and kindergarten: $1, Haidyn Thacker; 50 cents, Jayla Lease; 25 cents, Rachel Shulaw (1); Tyson McKee (3); Ella Roach (2); Jayla Lease (5); and Haidyn Thacker (3).
