Howard, Schilling exchange vows

Brittany and Brian Schilling

Brittany Anne Howard and Brian J. Schilling, both of Upper Sandusky, exchanged wedding vows Saturday, Jan. 14, 2012 at Transfiguration of the Lord, Upper Sandusky. Deacon Kevin Wintersteller and Pastor Jim Stauffer officiated the 2 p.m. ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Steve and Becky Howard, Upper Sandusky. The groom is the son of Jim and Sharon Schilling, Upper Sandusky.
The bride wore a white crystal organza gown with a corset back. She wore a rhinestone headband with a single-tier veil edged with crystals, sequins and pearls. She also accented the gown with a white winter fur wrap.
Laura Wetherell, Cincinnati, friend of the bride, was the maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Kandice Collins, Savannah, Ga., cousin of the bride; Kate Schilling, Upper Sandusky, sister of the groom; Kara Schilling, Upper Sandusky, sister of the groom; Katelyn Hausfeld, Cincinnati, friend of the bride; and Katie Grieve, Wellington, friend of the bride.
Jordan Kin and Kory Kin, both of Columbus, friends of the groom, were the best men.
Groomsmen were Scott Boes, Upper Sandusky, friend of the groom; Alex Howard, Upper Sandusky, brother of the bride; Trent Howard, Upper Sandusky, brother of the bride; Drew Rall, Upper Sandusky, friend of the groom; and Blake Spicer, Upper Sandusky, friend of the groom.
Sarah and Mariah Schilling, twin cousins of the groom, both of Maryland, were the flower girls.
Evan Kinley and Cole Bowman, both of Upper Sandusky, cousins of the bride, were the ringbearers.
Jarrod Rall, Darrick Luikart and Jed Prater were ushers.
The processional was “Cannon in D” by Pachelbel. The recessional was “The Wedding March” by Mendelssohn.
Music was performed by pianist Becky Ehrman, organist Lynelle Lortz and vocalist Cheri Schilling, cousin of the groom.
Readings were done by Angela Franz, aunt and godmother of the bride; and Ashley Bishop, cousin of the bride.
There were 550 guests from Maryland, Kentucky, Georgia, Hawaii, Pennsylvania, Indiana, Illinois and Iowa. Guests were registered by Whitney Tschanen and Katelynn Kinley, cousins of the bride.
A reception was held in the Masters’ Building at the Wyandot  County Fairgrounds, Upper Sandusky.
The new Mrs. Schilling is a 2007 graduate of Upper Sandusky High School and a 2011 graduate of the University of Akron, with a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing. She is a registered nurse at Blanchard Valley Hospital, Findlay.
The groom is a 2004 graduate of Upper Sandusky High School and a 2008 graduate of The Ohio State University, with a bachelor’s degree in agricultural engineering. He is employed by Schilling Propane, Schilling Farms, and AgGrow.
The couple took a wedding trip to Riviera Maya, Mexico.
