St. Paul Lutheran Church in conjunction with LIFE Inc. recently transformed the fellowship hall into Egypt for a fundraiser for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease. The decorations were recycled from the Upper Sandusky High School prom by Doug Maltsbarger and the 2012 junior class. The program, which also honored Bev Gottfried, included a spaghetti dinner and  entertainment. All monetary donations go directly to the ALS Foundation to find a cure. Anyone interested in contributing to this cause may contact the St.Paul/LIFE office, 128 N. Eight St., Upper Sandusky, at 419-294-2831. Names of the people pictured or the amount of money raised were not provided.
