St. Peter's butterflies

Figuratively speaking, butterflies are emerging from their cocoons in Judy Wheeler’s first-grade classroom at St. Peter’s School. Not only are these butterflies beautiful, but they contain lovely worded cinquains written by the students on the inside. Alyse Swartz wrote, “Butterfly, lovely, colorful, exciting, flying, feeding, playing in the flowers, Monarch.” The words on Hannah Windau’s creation were, “Butterfly, colorful, beautiful, flying, sitting, eating, drink nectar from flower, Monarch.” Ashton Vent wrote, “Butterfly, colorful, fun, eating, feeding, growing, fly to Mexico, Monarch.” Pictured artwork was designed by  Kamree Frey, Sam Smith, Audrey Bower and Evan Hill.
