Riverdale kindergarten screening to begin Feb. 16 Posted on February 4, 2016 0 MT. BLANCHARD — Registration for kindergarten screening begins Feb. 16 in the Riverdale Schools. Parents residing in the district who have children that will be 5 years old on or before Aug. 1 are asked to call the elementary office at 419-694-2211, ext. 1113 to register their child sometime between Feb. 16-26. Screenings are April 7 in the kindergarten classrooms in the elementary school. After calling to register, parents will receive an information packet in the mail with papers that need to be filled out and returned to the elementary office by March 11. Parents are asked to provide a copy of their child’s birth certificate, shot records, social security number, proof of residence and custody papers (if applicable). Parents who reside in the district need to register their child even if considering open enrollment to another district.
