Riverdale announces orientation dates

MOUNT BLANCHARD — Riverdale Middle School will hold two orientation sessions for this year’s sixth grade students and their parents beginning at 9 and 11 a.m. Aug. 15 in the school cafeteria.
Orientation will include going over the students’ schedules for the upcoming school year, giving students their Ohio Achievement Assessment scores, helping them locate their lockers and classrooms and explaining a variety of material that will help to prepare students for their first year in middle school.
Seventh and eighth grade schedules may be picked up at the office from 8 a.m. to noon and from 1-3 p.m. Aug. 16, 17 and 21.
A secretary will be available to accept school fees before and after orientations and when schedules are to be picked up.
School begins for Riverdale Local School District on Aug. 22.
