Leesville history to be highlighted


CRESTLINE — The Crawford Park District is combining its “Tellin’ Tales” program with a program on Leesville history at 2 p.m. Saturday at Lowe-Volk Park, 2401 State Route 598.

The session will focus on the recently published book on the Leesville sandstone quarries by author Dana Batory, who will be in attendance.

Lowe-Volk Park is located 3 miles north of U.S. 30.
