Hensel family holds reunion

HARPSTER — The Orlando Hensel family recently gathered in the Harpster United Methodist Church basement with 33 members present.
Jim Howell lead the group in prayer. Vice President David Hensel lead the business meeting following a potluck meal.
Officers for 2013 are David Hensel, president; Wilbur Hensel, vice president; and Susanne Hawk, secretary-treasurer.
Nathan Johnson is serving in the military.
The deaths of Warren Hensel, Wanda Reel and Earl Stumpp were reported.
Prizes were awarded to Donald Hensel for being the oldest family member present; Douglas Hensel, of Virginia, for traveling the farthest; Marjory Howell for having the most rings; and Linda Sammet for having the most children present.
Family pictures and fellowship followed.
Next year’s reunion will be Aug. 4.
