USHS grads enroll at ONU

Lauren Browne

ADA — Upper Sandusky High School graduates Lauren E. Browne, Alinda N. Rosvanis and Alex W. Thiel have enrolled at Ohio Northern University for the 2012-13 school year.
Browne, a daughter of David and Marie Browne, of Upper Sandusky, has enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences. She will be a freshman majoring in nursing. In high school, Browne was active in student council, yearbook committee, chamber choir, National Honor Society, women’s chorus, volleyball, softball and Oak Run music club.

Alinda Rosvanis

Rosvanis, a daughter of Arthur and Alinda Rosvanis, of Upper Sandusky, has enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences and will be a freshman majoring in general studies. At USHS, she was active in volleyball, cheerleading, track and dance team.

Alex Thiel

Thiel, a son of Jeff Thiel and Sherri Thiel, both of Upper Sandusky, has enrolled in the College of Engineering for the 2012-13 school year. He will be a freshman majoring in mechanical engineering. He also was a member of National Honor Society at USHS.

TU releases spring semester dean’s list
TIFFIN — Tiffin University recently announced its spring semester dean’s list. Local residents who received honors are listed by hometown.
Carey: Celestia Brodman, Dennis Carter, Corey Harrold and Jamie Young.
Harpster: Nicholle Lang.
Sycamore: Cheryl Loftis, Eric Sowers and Christina Strait.
Upper Sandusky: Chelsea Bennett, Shelby Calmes, Ryan Courtright, Lynzi Daughenbaugh and Kaila Pollock.
