Brake awarded Biery grant
Celine Brake
BEVERLY — Celine Brake, of Forest, has received a renewal Mildred Biery Grant from the Ohio Child Conservation League Student Loan Fund.
A 2011 graduate of Riverdale High School, Brake is a daughter of Jayson and Rochelle Brake. She currently is in the honors program at Capital University, with a major in philosophy and a minor in computer science. She is in the college’s philosophy club and volunteers with the Columbus Area After School Allstars.
Loverich earns 4.0 GPA
Ryan Loverich
Ryan Loverich was named to the president’s list at Brown Mackie College, Findlay, after earning at 4.0 GPA during winter quarter of his occupational therapy assistant program.
This is the third consecutive quarter Loverich has been named to the president’s list.
Area students earn degrees at OSU
COLUMBUS — The Ohio State University recently issued the list of seniors and graduate students who received degrees at the winter quarter commencement exercises on March 18 in the Jerome Schottenstein Center.
Area students were Toni Marie Schafer, Sycamore, Master of Education; Rachel Kathryn Beck, Carey, Master of City and Regional Planning; Ryan James Mack, Carey, Bachelor of Science in business administration; Brock Andrew Rieser, Harpster, Bachelor of Science in agriculture; Jenaya Lenae Clabaugh, Upper Sandusky, Master of Education; and Abigail Rose Warfel, Upper Sandusky, Associate of Arts.
Several students chose not to have their names released under provisions of the Federal Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974.
