T-shirt contest winner

Union School eighth-grader JB Hansen (right) won first prize in the Wyandot County Recycling Center and Solid Waste Management District’s annual T-shirt contest. Also pictured is Hansen’s science teacher Lynda Smith. Monte Boes and Lucy Smith, both sixth graders at St. Peter’s School, one second and third place respectively. The contest was open to all sixth, seventh and eighth grade students at Mohawk, Carey and Upper Sandusky schools. The theme was “Litter’s a loss once you toss.”
