Jill Orians (left) holds a tote bag made from recycled feed bags designed by her mother, Pat Riedel. The display will be up all week at the 161st Wyandot County Fair, which opened today and runs through Sunday.

WWII veterans Minor Spitler and Irven Kieffer

World War II veterans (from left) Minor Spitler, 91, and Irven Kieffer, 90, were the first veterans to enter the Wyandot County Fair this morning. Today is Veterans Day at the fair, with all veterans being admitted free with proof of service.
