Wyandot SWCD offering scholarship

The Wyandot Soil and Water Conservation District is offering a $500 scholarship to Wyandot County youth who have been accepted or are currently enrolled in an accredited college for the fall of 2012 and hold a GPA of 2.5 or higher.
Eligible students must be planning on or currently pursuing a degree in natural resources, environmental science, agriculture, or a related field. All applicants need to live in Wyandot County.
Interested students should send an application, current transcript and one letter of recommendation to the Wyandot SWCD Office at 97 Houpt Drive, Suite A, Upper Sandusky OH 43351.
The application materials must be received by March 16. Applications are available at the Wyandot Soil and Water Conservation District office.
This scholarship was made possible by Antoinette Lowry, who bequeathed the district a gift of money to be used for conservation education scholarships for the youth of Wyandot County.
