Jazzin’ Tiffin scheduled Sept. 8

TIFFIN — The fourth annual Jazzin’ Tiffin is set for 1-9 p.m. Sept. 8 at Rotary Park, Frost Parkway, along the Sandusky River at the edge of downtown Tiffin.
Tiffin University Pro Music Ensemble will begin the program, followed by Heidelberg University’s Jazz Ensemble. The next performer is Jerome Clark, who has performed at the renowned Baker’s Keyboard Lounge, the Bird of Paradise in Ann Arbor, Mich., and the Chicago Theater. He recently completed the first CD entitled “Water.”
Warren Hill, born and raised in Canada, will follow on the saxophone. Hill currently is touring with the Gentlemen of the Night, featuring Marion Meadows and Michael Lington. He is working on several projects, including a new CD, his daughter’s CD and next film and his online Sax Club, which includes student members from around the globe.
Alexander Zonjic, nationally known flutist, will be the final performer. He grew up in Windsor, Canada, but lives in Detroit. He has many accomplishments as a recording artist and performer of international statue, morning drive time jazz radio personality, concert performer, restaurateur and more.
A beer and wine tent and concessions will be available on site.
The fifth annual juried art show and festival, “A Masterpiece in the Making” also takes place Sept. 8 on Frost Parkway from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
