BUCYRUS — The Crawford Theatre Company is set to take the stage for its upcoming musical production of “Oliver!” Show times are 7:30 p.m. June 15-16 and 2:30 p.m. June 16-17 in the Wynford High School auditorium, 3288 Holmes Center Road, Bucyrus.
“Oliver!” brings to life Charles Dickens’ timeless characters and ever-popular story of the boy who asked for more. The Tony-Award winning musical by Lionel Bart is based on Dickens’ novel “Oliver Twist.”
The 31-member cast comes from Carey, Upper Sandusky, Bucyrus, North Robinson, Crestline and Galion. It includes Abbie Brocwell and Bailey Dixon as Oliver, Tony Lipscomb as Mr. Bumble, Rebecca Wilson as Widow Corney, Tom Griffin as Noah Claypole, Matthew Eichhorn as Mr. Sowerberry, Angie Brocwell as Mrs. Sowerberry, Ally DuBois as Charlotte, Ava Hatfield as Dodger, Matt Feck as Fagin, Betsy Gerhart as Nancy, Bella Walter as Bet, Jim Kitzler as Bill Sykes, Kristy Hatfield as Mrs. Bedwin, Aaron Dixon as Mr. Brownlow, David Cory as Dr. Grimwig, Jen DuBois as old Sally, Kate Seville as old Annie and Christy Wallace as the workhouse assistant.
Fagin’s gang and chorus includes Janet Cory, Jenna Cory, Larry Gerhart, Noah Grahm, Kennedy Hatfield, Maya Hatfield, Alivia Payne, Kelsie Williams, Lyndie Williams, Addie Wood and Lexie Wood.
“Oliver!” is co-directed by Betsy Gerhart and Matt Feck with piano accompaniment by Carolyn Richardson.
