Carey shakes off slow start NORTH ROBINSON — Carey overcame a slow start and picked up its first win of the season 13-25, 25-18, 25-21, 25-11 over Colonel Crawford on Thursday night in North Robinson. Colonel Crawford (2-1, 1-1 N10) jumped out to a 7-0 lead in the first set to take control, but Carey (1-1, 1-1 N10) pulled away midway through the second set to tie the match at one set each.
