The Wyandot County Sheriff’s Office advised of a reckless driver heading westbound on East Wyandot Avenue near Dollar General the morning of July 3. The responding officer was unable to locate the vehicle. An officer on patrol located a disabled semi-tractor trailer on North Sandusky Avenue at Church Street the morning of July 3. The driver of the vehicle advised he was lost and the officer gave him directions for his destination.

Jeremy Rowe, Bucyrus, was cited for operating a vehicle while under the influence of drugs and for expired registration the early morning of July 2. Rowe also was cited with contributing to the delinquency of a minor, and a passenger in the car was advised that a report would be submitted to the juvenile prosecutors for possession of marijuana less than 100 grams and a curfew violation.

An officer assisted a Findlay woman with a vehicle lockout on the 100 block of East Hick Street the morning of July 1. A caller reported a computer scam on the 400 block of North Third Street the morning of July 1.

Officers attempted to remove a bat from a residence on the 300 block of West Wyandot Avenue the early morning of June 28. An officer transported an Upper Sandusky man home from Wyandot Memorial Hospital emergency room the morning of June 28. An officer assisted a Nevada man with a vehicle unlock on the 400 block of West Wyandot Avenue the afternoon of June 28.

An officer assisted an Okmulgee, Oklahoma woman with a vehicle lockout in the McDonald’s parking lot the morning of June 26. An officer assisted a Nevada woman with a vehicle lockout on the 1600 block of East Wyandot Avenue the afternoon of June 26.

Gayle Siegel, of Upper Sandusky, died Wednesday, June 26, 2019, at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown, Kentucky, surrounded by her family. She was 75. Arrangements are pending with Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky.

An officer assisted the Upper Sandusky Fire Department for an alarm at McDonald's the morning of June 25. An exterminator had accidentally tripped the alarm. An officer assisted a Carey man with a vehicle unlock on the 1700 block of East Wyandot Avenue the morning of June 25.

An officer assisted the driver of a disabled vehicle on West Hicks Street near Summit Street the early morning of June 24. The driver had help on the way and the officer advised the driver to call the department if further assistance was needed.

A caller reported a possible fight on the 400 block of South Sandusky Avenue the morning of June 21. The responding officer warned all parties involved for disorderly conduct. A caller reported a dog in a pick up with the windows left up on the 1100 block of East Wyandot Avenue the afternoon of June 21. The vehicle was gone upon the responding officer’s arrival.
