No one was arrested or charged when the Upper Sandusky Police Department responded to a report of a motorist threatening to shoot a semitrailer driver Wednesday afternoon. The USPD received a 911 call at approximately 1:21 p.m. from a semi driver who said a motorist threatened to shoot him at the intersection of North Eighth Street and Wyandot Avenue.

Officers responded to a report of a possibly impaired driver the morning of May 11 on Ohio 53 near Ohio 67. The vehicle was not located.

Brett E. Hoffbauer, Fostoria, was cited for possession of an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle the night of May 8 after a traffic stop on CH 47 near CH 107. Katherine M. Koehler, Sycamore, was traveling southbound on Ohio 231 near CH 36 in a 2011 Volkswagon Jetta the morning of May 12 when she struck a deer.

Wyandot County Sheriff’s Office Horace J. Hall, Detroit, Michigan, was cited for no operator’s license, speed, and possession of marijuana and marijuana paraphernalia early the morning of May 12 after a traffic stop on U.S. 23 near CH 97.

Wyandot County Sheriff’s Office Deputies responded to a report of several 4-wheelers tearing up fields the night of May 9 in the 500 block of CH 16.

William W. Field, LaRue, was traveling southbound on Ohio 67 the afternoon of May 6 when he struck a dog that ran into the roadway. Eugene H. Forney, Forest, was cited with left of center the morning of May 7 after a minor vehicle accident on CH 53.

Bianca Jolley, Mount Gilead, was warned for obstructed license plate and turn signal required the morning of May 8 after a traffic stop in the 400 block of North Warpole Street. Officers responded to a report of a suspicious person the morning of May 8 on Maple Street.

Brittney R. Castillo, Fremont, was cited for failure to reinstate, safety belt and booster seat required, improper display of plates and fictitious registration the night of May 3 after a traffic stop on U.S. 23 near Ohio 199.
