Riverdale BOE names new superintendent MOUNT BLANCHARD — With the retirement of Superintendent Eric Hoffman less than five months away, the Riverdale Board of Education selected a familiar face as the district’s next leader. Carey releases village’s annual public works report CAREY — Carey Public Works Director Brian Spencer has released his 2016 report. Spencer’s report was not included in Carey’s annual report released earlier this year after he suffered a broken ankle late last year. He still is not working while recovering from surgery.
