BUCYRUS — The Wynford Local Schools Board of Education accepted the resignation of band director Carl Copeland in a special meeting this morning. Wynford Superintendent Steve Mohr said he was not at liberty to discuss the reason for the resignation, citing privacy concerns.

KENTON — Kenton City Council will be asked Monday night to become part of a plan to transform an underutilized city park into a gathering place for veterans. Organizers of Camp Jacob Parrott believe the facility could reach the lives of thousands while also providing a unique opportunity for economic growth for Hardin County.

The Wyandot County Board of Commissioners met Thursday with Wyandot County Engineer Mike Kohl to hear an update about a building project on county-owned property on the east side of Ohio 199 just north of CH 44.
