Boil alert issued for part of Upper

The Wyandot County Sheriff's Office announced a boil alert for a small part of Upper Sandusky early this morning. The affected area includes South Sandusky Avenue from Wyandot Avenue to Crawford Street, West Johnson Street from Fourth to Seventh streets, and West Hicks Street from Fifth to Seventh streets.

Safety Blotter: June 14, 2017

A caller reported two men were shooting at geese with a handgun on a property near TH 108 and CH 47, Salem Township, the evening of May 24. The Ohio Department of Natural Resources handled the complaint. Ronald A. Johnson, Nevada, was traveling westbound on TH 70 near TH 10, Antrim Township, early the morning of May 25 when he struck a deer crossing the roadway.
