Palace having volunteer orientation

MARION — Palace volunteer advisory committee members will meet with potential Palace volunteers during an orientation session at 10 a.m. Jan. 27 in the Palace Theatre. The Palace hopes to build a volunteer corps with people ranging from juniors in high school to retirees who wish to give back to the community.

Mildred E. Hannum, age 94, a lifelong Mifflin Township resident, died Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2018, at Fairhaven Health Care Community. Funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m. Friday at Bringman Clark Funeral Home with Pastor Ed Hunker officiating. Interment will be held in Oak Hill Cemetery.
