Program provides chance to dispose of unused medication at anytime While there are national prescription drug take-back days twice a year that Wyandot County law enforcement participates in, the Upper Sandusky Police Department now has a method to drop off medication at any time. USPD Chief Dan Ross says became aware of a Rite Aid program two months ago which gave police departments in Rite Aid service areas the opportunity to have their own safe medication disposal unit. City discusses selling closed park The Upper Sandusky Park Board discussed selling the former Waterworks Park property during its meeting Tuesday. Sycamore FD proposes change of communication equipment SYCAMORE — The Sycamore Volunteer Fire Department proposed changing its communication equipment at the Sycamore Village Council meeting Tuesday. Sycamore Volunteer Fire Chief Rodney Clinger said the department currently uses two radios for its three-county coverage and doesn’t have direct contact with Crawford County, instead having to go through Wyandot County first. Upper travels to National Convention The Upper Sandusky FFA recently attended the 91st National FFA Convention to listen to motivational speakers, learn about agriculture on educational tours and to celebrate with the American Degree recipients.
