Dance tryouts set for Feb 24

TIFFIN — Kathy Miller, of trideaDANCE, the resident modern dance company of The Ritz Theatre, will hold auditions for dancers and movers ages 9 and older to develop a new intergenerational piece. The audition is 1-4 p.m. Feb. 24 at The Ritz Theatre, 30 S. Washington St., Tiffin.

Football fundraiser features comedian

Laughs for a cause

Laughs are expected for the second consecutive week with a local fundraiser Saturday. One week after hosting Hannah’s House Family Feud, the Upper Sandusky Elk’s Lodge is hosting An Evening with Pat Godwin in support of the Wyandot County Midget Football League. Doors open at 7 p.m. and the event is expected to begin by 8 p.m.

Nutrition business expands to Upper

A pair of Tiffin women have recently expanded their nutrition business to Upper Sandusky. Business partners Dawn Tyree and Michelle Walland opened Future U Nutrition in December, expanding from the Best Break nutrition club in Tiffin. “I started the business in Tiffin three years ago,” Tyree said.
