Mohawk plans to give back to tax payers by putting pipeline money toward building SYCAMORE — Mohawk Local School District announced a plan to give back to its tax payers Monday at its board of education meeting. It was reported in November that Mohawk will receive $875,275.70 in additional tax revenue from the Rover Pipeline for this tax year and that number is expected to double in 2020 once the second pipeline is operational. Sycamore Fire says Eden Township has not returned contract SYCAMORE — An issue with a township fire contract was discussed during Tuesday’s Sycamore Village Council meeting. Sycamore Volunteer Fire Department Chief Rodney Clinger reported Eden Township of Wyandot County has the new fire contract but it has not been signed and returned. The old fire contract agreement expired Dec. 31, but the department has continued responding to calls in the township over the last two months. Read More
Upper park board talks about issues with pool The Upper Sandusky Park Board discussed issues with the pool during its meeting Monday. There was concern about abuse of the family pass system, which allows four people to swim at the pool for $75, with any additional members costing $10 extra.
