Wynford Local School District turns the page on a new chapter Sunday with mostly clear skies, a burst of rain and a dose of wind, Wynford celebrated a new chapter for the district while also looking back and thanking those who came before. Safety blotter: May 20, 2019 An officer responded to a call about a disabled semi-tractor trailer on West Wyandot Avenue near Eighth Street the morning of May 17. Ward sentenced to 17 months, maintains innocence A Carey man has been sentenced to 17 months in prison for attempted gross sexual imposition, a fourth-degree felony. Randy A. Ward, 65, was designated as a tier-one sex offender before sentencing at the Wyandot County Common Pleas Court Friday. Ward will be credited with 221 days of time already served.
