Carey to put renewal tax levy on ballot CAREY — During their meeting on Monday, the Carey Exempted Village School District Board of Education approved a resolution to renew the levy of an annual income tax expiring at the end of 2019 for school district purposes. Voters pass local issues Unofficial voting results from Tuesday were reported by the Wyandot County Board of Elections. The Dorcas Carey Public Library Tax Levy passed with an overwhelming margin of 519 for the tax levy and 117 against the tax levy. Read More

Wynford passes new school initiative BUCYRUS — Wynford Local Schools will be getting a new high school and junior high building after the passage of a 4.95-mill levy with an additional 1 mill for permanent improvement attached to that.
