A Kirby man found guilty by a jury of complicity to felonious assault as a result of a fight outside the Blue Room in August 2014 will not receive another trial in Wyandot County Common Pleas Court.

Linda M. Conley, registrar of vital statistics at the Wyandot County Health Department reports there were 11 births and 18 deaths in the county during December. Births include seven females and four males; deaths include eight females and 10 males.

A former Upper Sandusky man previously convicted of rape is facing as many as 14 years in prison after pleading guilty Monday to failure to give a notice of change of his address and burglary in Wyandot County Common Pleas Court. Corey D. Penwell, 26, of Fredericktown and formerly of Upper Sandusky, pleaded to one count of both charges before Judge Kate Aubry.
