SYCAMORE — Westbrook Assisted Living and Sycamore Fire and Rescue Inc. have teamed up to sponsor a New Year’s Eve event with dueling pianos at the Sycamore Community Center. The cost is $30 per person, which includes dinner, or $240 for a table of eight.

BUCYRUS — A mortality composting certification course will be offered at 6:30 p.m. Jan. 14 in the lower level conference room at the Crawford County Courthouse, 112 E. Mansfield St., Bucyrus. Reservations are required by Jan. 12 for the course that certifies attendees in mortality composting.
