Kappa Chapter tours Civil War museum

TIFFIN — Twelve members and three guests were present when Kappa Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma Intl. recently met at Tiffin’s American Civil War Museum. Jan Dundore provided a tour of the museum, the only one in Ohio solely dedicated to the American Civil War.

WESTERVILLE — A trio of 2012 Upper Sandusky High School graduates recently participated in commencement exercises at Otterbein University together. Marissa Linhart graduated with a Bachelor of Science in nursing; Mark Walton graduated with a Bachelor of Science in education; and Sydney Courtad graduated with a Bachelor of Science in nursing.

Free carnival salted at Westbrook on June 12

The public is invited to attend a free carnival from 1-2:30 p.m. June 12 at Westbrook Assisted Living and Memory Care, 101 Westbrook Blvd. The event will include a bounce house, a clown, a visit from Wyandot County Sheriff Mike Hetzel, entertainment, prizes, popcorn, snow cones, cotton candy, games and more.
