Ohio energy bill help available The Home Energy Assistance Program Winter Crisis Program began Nov. 1 and is to continue through March 31 or as long as funds remain available. The Winter Crisis Program was created to provide financial assistance, one time per heating season, to income eligible households who are threatened with disconnection of their heating source, have service already disconnected, need to establish new service or transfer service or have less than a 25 percent supply of bulk fuel. Tax prep volunteers sought The local AARP-sponsored team that annually offers free tax preparation at Trinity Evangelical United Methodist Church is in need of volunteers.
