Humane Society: January 30, 2018

The following report was prepared and submitted by the Wyandot County Humane Society on Tuesday and is correct as of that date. Pets reported as missing since the last report that have not been found include a white and yellow male cat, a neutered male tiger cat, eight-week old male hound puppies, a tan and white long hair Chihuahua, a white male great Pyrenees and a gray male pit bull.

Pastor, lawyer to speak at prayer breakfast

BUCYRUS — Hans Scherner, pastor of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Sulphur Springs, will be the guest speaker for the Interdenominational Men’s Breakfast at 7 a.m. Feb. 14 at the Bucyrus Community Hospital cafeteria. Scherner also is a licensed attorney with Scherner & Hanson LLC Law Firm in Columbus.

Valentine tea set in Tiffin

TIFFIN — The Tiffin Historic Trust “Be My Valentine Tea” is 12:30 p.m. Feb. 10 at the Grammes-Brown House, 172 Jefferson St., Tiffin. Gene Chintala, associate professor of political science at Tiffin University, will give the program on the history of Valentines.
