Presentation on internet safety for parents slated

BUCYRUS — Wynford Local Schools will present “Internet Safety for Parents” with a light dinner from 5:30-6 p.m. and a presentation from 6-8 p.m. Sept. 26 in the Wynford High School auditorium. No children are permitted. The event is free and open to all adults. It is intended to be relevant to all parents of kindergarten through college-age children.

Kappa to tour White Shutter

The Kappa chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma International will meet at 10 a.m. Sept. 22 at White Shutter Brewery & Winery, 3794 CH 56, Nevada. RSVP to Patti Palmer or Dorothy Blackburn by Saturday. Guests are welcome.

Meeting set next week

The Wyandot County Prostate Cancer Support Group will meet for an open forum on topics of interest to those in attendance at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the Bowman and Kirkland Conference Rooms on the lower level of Wyandot Memorial Hospital.

President Barb Grasz called the meeting of the Catholic Ladies of Columbia to order for September with 33 members present. The meeting was opened with prayer and the Pledge of Allegiance. It was announced that Rita Bricely died.

Brian and Brittany Schilling, of Nevada, are the parents of a boy. Cy Carter Schilling was born at 2:41 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 29, 2018, at Wyandot Memorial Hospital, Upper Sandusky. Former Ohio State University and NFL quarterback Craig Krenzel will be the guest speaker at the men’s breakfast at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Bucyrus Community Hospital cafeteria. Krenzel led the Buckeyes to the 2003 national championship and played in the NFL for the Chicago Bears and Cincinnati Bengals.
