Christmas craft show Nov. 4

MARION — The 29th annual Ohio Valley Christmas Craft Show is 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 4 at the Marion County Fairgrounds Coliseum in Marion. The show will feature exhibitors from all over Ohio selling hand-crafted, one-of-a-kind items like primitive and rustic home decor, dolls, handmade toys, jewelry, purses, Christmas wreaths, floral arrangements, baskets, angels, Santas, wood items, decorative painting, oak shelves, hand-painted jewelry, many direct sales companies Christmas decorating ideas, gifts and unusual collectibles.

Town hall meeting Wednesday

The Wyandot County Chamber of Commerce, Economic Development, Republican Party and Democrat Party are hosting a Town Hall Meeting at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the Upper Sandusky Community Library. The event is open to the public and is an opportunity to meet candidates and hear about the local levies and state Issues.

Shark cart coming to library

SYCAMORE — No need to travel to the coast to experience something from the ocean because the Newport Aquarium’s Wave Foundation traveling shark cart — with two small, touchable epaulette sharks — is coming at 2 p.m. Saturday to the Mohawk Community Library with additional activities beginning at 1 p.m., including photo opportunities and crafts.

Halloween parade set to be held in Tiffin

TIFFIN — The Tiffin Developmental Center is holding its 52nd annual Halloween Parade at 2 p.m. Sunday, rain or shine. The parade route will begin at the Chapel parking lot of Tiffin Center traveling west through the grounds to the Huss Street entrance, turning left onto Ohio Avenue then right onto industrial Avenue, right onto Riverside Drive, right onto Huss street, then left onto River Road North and ending at the ball diamond.

Cemetery to have dedication event at 2 pm Saturday

A dedication ceremony for the Wyandot County Infirmary Cemetery Memorial will take place at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Wyandot County Skilled Nursing and Rehabiliation Center. Wyandot County Infirmary Cemetery Committee members Mary Reinhart, Scott McKee, Tami Schmidt, Kelli Smith, Mike Wheeler and Ron Marvin are expected to participate in the ceremony as will the Upper Sandusky Color Guard.

SYCAMORE — The Marvel superhero comic movie sequel about Ant Man and a flying wasp is being shown at 7 p.m. Friday at the Mohawk Community Library. The evening is free to all, and popcorn and drinks will be served. For further details, call the library at 419-927-2407.
