DAVENPORT, Iowa — Julian Pelfrey of Upper Sandusky, graduated with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic's main campus in Davenport, Iowa on Feb. 22, 2019. Palmer College of Chiropractic is the founding college of the chiropractic profession, and is known as The Trusted Leader in Chiropractic Education.

Deadline for screening, assessment for kindergarten at Wynford set for Friday

BUCYRUS — Wynford Local School district will be conducting kindergarten screening April 25 and 26 at the elementary building. Children who will be five years old on or before Aug. 1 are required by law to register and be screened. The screening process includes assessments in the following areas: vision, hearing, speech/language and general academic readiness skills.

Easter egg hunt Saturday in Carey

CAREY — The Dorcas Carey Public Library will be hosting an Easter egg hunt at 11 a.m. Saturday for birth through preschool. Another egg hunt will take place later that afternoon at 3:30 p.m. for grades Kindergarten through fifth grade.

Legion hosting fish fry April 19

FOREST — The McVitty Post 1182 and the American Legion Post 259, of Forest, will hold the next monthly fish fry from 5-7 p.m., April 19 at the Post, 204 E. Lima St., Forest. Meals are all-you-can-eat. Tickets may be purchased at the door for a $9 donation. Carry-out is also available.
