Fort Meigs offering after dark tour

PERRYSBURG — A limited number of visitors can experience Fort Meigs after dark during a one-night-only tour May 3. Led by costumed guides, guests will tour the fort by lantern light, witness a nighttime musket demonstration and experience the historic battlefield as soldiers did during the War of 1812.

Joint meeting

It was celebration time at the joint meeting of Kappa and Lambda Chapters of Delta Kappa Gamma Society International April 13. Kappa Co-Presidents Norma Frederick and Dorothy Blackburn welcomed 28 members and 5 guests, Judy Green, Joan Woodruff, Sandra Moore, Jodi Phillips and Adeline Terry at the Kenton Elks.

Ashlie Webb Payton (right) presented a program on family storytelling at Monday’s meeting of the Wyandot Tracers. Payton discussed how family folklore relates to genealogy and told interesting tales involving buried treasure, haunted houses, outlaws and the mafia that had been passed down.

Sisters of St Francis announces May events

TIFFIN — Sisters of St. Francis has announced upcoming campus events for May. Yoga Classes are 5:15-6:15 p.m. Wednesdays at the St. Francis Spirituality Center Greccio Room, 200 St. Francis Ave., Tiffin. A $7 donation is requested, if possible. A mat and belt will be provided to those in need.

Cooking with Tami series returns in May

A series of three hour-long programs is being offered by the SNAP-Ed program assistant from the Wyandot County OSU Extension service. Tami Baumberger will once again conduct a series of Cooking with Tami sessions at the Open Door Resources Center in Upper Sandusky.

Nora Ann Wilch

Renee and Jason Wilch, of Findlay, are the parents of a daughter. Nora Ann Wilch was born at 3:31 p.m. Feb. 12, 2019, at Blanchard Valley Hospital, in Findlay. She was 20 inches long and weighed 6 pounds, 1 ounce. The maternal grandparents are John and Sharma Bidlack. The paternal grandparents are Ron and Karen Wilch.

Laura and Zachary Kincade, of Forest, are the parents of a son. Lukas Martin Kincade was born at 12:20 p.m. April 2, 2019, at Wyandot Memorial Hospital, in Upper Sandusky.
