Humane Society: June 11, 2019

The following report was prepared and submitted by the Wyandot County Humane Society on Monday and is correct as of that date. Pets reported as missing since the last report that have not been found include a large fluffy neutered male black cat, a male gray tiger cat, a gray calico female cat that is microchipped, a young female brown and white boxer, a white and gray male cat, a tan female lab mix puppy, a shetland sheepdog and a tri-color neutered male coonhound.

Carey library hosting band concert tonight

CAREY — Celebrate school spirit with the Dorcas Carey Public Library with the upcoming Pride of Carey Blue Devil Marching Band performance at 6:30 p.m. June 10 on the library lawn. Bring a lawn chair or blanket and enjoy light refreshments while listening to the best of Carey’s young musicians.

Flag City Honor Flight taking off Tuesday

FINDLAY — The first of two 2019 flights of Flag City Honor Flight, the Findlay based hub of the National Honor Flight Network, will occur Tuesday. Seventy-eight veterans plus their guardians will journey to Washington D.C. to visit the war memorials; including 20 World War II veterans.

Meeting minutes: June 8, 2019

The May 6 meeting of the Tri Sigma soroity Beta chapter was held at the home of Mary Riedlinger. Kara Schoen, the program coordinator of CASA, was the guest speaker. CASA stands for court appointed special advocate or children. This particular group covers Wyandot, Seneca and Sandusky counties.
